I consider Ann Murray a real intelligent singer and musician. One of the best singers of Anglo-Saxon area – although Murray is Irish (Dublin, 1947), she studied in the UK, where the good singers are virtually unknown. And where is not clear anything of melodrama, ever. Murray is surely a notable exception, compared to many her “Albionic” female colleagues with wretched voices.
